As part of the Children’s Creative Event, the activity “Orjen is my mountain too” was realized. About 20 children aged 4-12 years old were enjoying nature in the hinterland of Herceg Novi. Children were walking, riding bicycles, conquered the top of the Secret Hill on Kameno, participated in running a rural household, and tasted traditional specialties. The owners of the traditional household gave the story about the village, the life in the countryside, local products and works in the field. The children passed through the household, milked the cow, fed the animals and kindled a fire in the local stone house. Finally, they all got the certificate for successfully passing the workshop.
This activity showed the possible directions of diversification of tourism offer in the open air adapted to children and expanded the concept of child friendly destination for Herceg Novi.
