On the weekend Catholic Easter has been celebrated in Herceg Novi. Children expressed their creativity by painting small 3D decorative eggs and flower pots, which they then used to decorate the main stars in the Old town. Later, they painted the drawings and decorated cookies with Easter motivations. Then the egg race has been organized where the winner for the fastest and the youngest participant has been chosen. The Women association were cooking and decorating eggs as well as sweets for children and their parents. Face painting has also been organized along with a handicraft bazaar in the city center.
Similar activities will be on the program for Orthodox Easter when the rich final program is planned in the main city port – Skver.
