In order to more clearly recognize the city as a destination suitable for children, through the EU project “WONDER”, a contract was signed for the reconstruction of a children’s playground in the central urban zone of Herceg Novi. The contracted value of the works is € 19,800.
Considering the existing condition of the playground, and due to the arrangement and additional raising of the attractiveness of the micro location, it was agreed to remove the damaged equipment from this area, and set up a larger wooden device consisting of a house, swing, slide and climber and specializes in public use of surfaces. The surface of the playground will be additionally adjusted to the planned device and will be provided by the installation of rubber tiles. Everything will be set in accordance with EU safety and environmental standards for this type of equipment for children outdoors.
The dimensions of the planned playground are 880x310x400 and 7 to 8 children will be able to use it in the same time interval.
The technical documentation for the proposal for the reconstruction of the children’s playground was made in cooperation with the Agency for Construction and Development of Herceg Novi, based on approvals issued by the Municipality.
